You can also produce similar graphs showing number and method of men leaving by month of the War. The graph below shows the number of Confederate soldiers in the Database that were discharged for disability by month of the War.

It is interesting to see that as the War progressed fewer Confederate soldiers were being discharged for disability. Does the same pattern exist for Union troops?
